Public Relations and Media Associate

Aimé Leon Dore is seeking a Public Relations & Media Associate to join our team in New York, NY. This role will report directly to the SVP, Marketing and play a key role in supporting brand visibility through strategic seeding, media relations, and PR initiatives.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end execution of seeding initiatives, including recipient selection, order placement, tracking, and delivery


• Maintain and continuously refine client and media lists, ensuring accuracy across tiers, categories, contact details, and sizing


• Support the development and execution of strategic gifting opportunities to strengthen relationships with key talent, partners, and media


• Serve as the primary point of contact for product requests, coordinating loans, shipments, and returns for editorials, photoshoots, and media placements


• Track, compile, and report on media placements, coverage, and ongoing PR activity


• Assist in drafting and distributing press releases, media kits, and other PR materials, ensuring alignment with brand voice and messaging


• Support cross-functional initiatives tied to brand campaigns, launches, and storytelling moments

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in public relations, communications, or a related field


• Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail


• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills


• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment


• Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership


• Interest in fashion, culture, and brand storytelling; experience in fashion or luxury is a plus

Salary Range: $60,000 - $70,000
