You’ll be the dedicated Publicist to our Chief Visionary Officer, shaping how his story shows up on local and national stages, in podcasts, and across business and faith communities. You'll build a repeatable booking engine, sharpen the message, and turn moments into media week after week. This role is one where bold ideas meet crisp execution: one-sheets, reels, press releases, run-of-show, and on-site support. With a service-oriented mindset and creative edge, you keep the principal two steps ahead and the brand camera-ready. The payoff is tangible: more high-quality bookings, stronger coverage, bigger audiences and a front-row seat to a platform that moves people to action.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

• Own a year-round PR and speaking calendar for the Chief Visionary Officer including keynotes, podcasts, panels, conferences, and business media.
• Pitch, book, and prep external appearances; manage outreach, holds, contracts, and confirmations.
• Write and distribute press releases, media alerts, op-eds, and ghostwritten articles; maintain an active media list/CRM.
• Partner with internal event, marketing, and nonprofit teams to amplify earned media around major moments and campaigns.
• Coordinate run-of-show, briefing books, travel, wardrobe/styling, and on-site support; keep the principal “appearance-ready.”
• Lead post-appearance amplification: clip selection, captions, newsletter blurbs, and short-form video direction.
• Track outcomes and report ROI: bookings, placements, audience reach, list growth, and sourced opportunities.
• Provide light executive-assistant support tied to appearances (calendar, reimbursements, vendor coordination).
• Anticipate issues and lead rapid-response statements and reputation management when needed.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

• 2+ years as a publicist or communications specialist booking speakers, podcasts, or media.
• Proven media-relations and pitching chops; portfolio of placements (include links if available).
• Exceptional writing and editing across PR, thought leadership, and executive ghostwriting.
• Proactive, service-oriented mindset with crisp follow-through; you stay two steps ahead.
• Fluency with AI content tools (e.g., drafting, transcription, clip generation) to speed assets before/after events.
• Strong PowerPoint and Keynote Design abilities
• High discretion and professionalism; ease working across business and faith-adjacent content with nuance.
• Strong project management: build calendars, juggle deadlines, and hit agreed-upon goals.
• Ability to travel occasionally and support early/late events as needed

IT’S GREAT IF YOU HAVE:

• Master’s in Public Relations, Strategic Communication, Journalism, or a related field.
• Experience amplifying conferences or nonprofit initiatives alongside business brands.
• On-camera coaching, styling, or stage-production experience.
• Book-launch or podcast-network development experience.
• Light video editing (Premiere/CapCut) and social analytics literacy.
• Familiarity with real estate, investing, or small-business media.
