Pullet Crew Member

High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

·         Catch and pick up live chickens by the wings and load them into steel cages.

·         Comply with written company policies.

·         Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with company GMP and biosecurity policies.

·         Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or live management official.

            Abnormal situation would be:

                        Unauthorized employees in restricted areas

                        Any activity that goes against the Peco animal welfare policy.

·         Catch and pick up live chickens by the wings and present them to the vaccinator to be vaccinated.

·         Administer vaccinations in appropriate locations in accordance with Peco policy.

·         Comply with written company policies.

·         Maintain the highest possible level of personal hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with company GMP and biosecurity policies.

·         Identify and report any suspicious or abnormal situations to their immediate supervisor or live management official.

            Abnormal situation would be:

                        Unauthorized employees in restricted areas

                                    Any activity that goes against the Peco animal welfare policy.

·         Standing / walking 100% of the workday.

·         Lifting live birds that weight between 4.0-7.0 pounds on average.

·         Dusty/warm work environment inside the chicken houses.

·         Performing repetitive motion.

·         Being able to work in a mostly outdoor environment.
