Pump Mechanic for Direct Hire

Seeking Pump Mechanic for a direct hire opportunity with our client, a top-tier industrial pump installation and repair company in Phoenix, AZ

Pay: $35-45/H based on experience.

Job Responsibilities for Pump Mechanic: 

• Receive, disassemble, inspect, repair, fabricate, paint, package/prep, install, and remove a variety of centrifugal pumps as well as other related rotating equipment
• Open communication with production coordinator and General Manager
• Safely load, unload and move equipment as needed

Qualifications for Pump Mechanic:

• High School Diploma or Trade school or equivalent training.
• 5 years of work experience as pump mechanic with installation and repair experience.
• Ability to read pump drawings
• Safely use hand, power, pneumatic and hydraulic tools
• Ability to properly use various types of precision measuring equipment
• Experience or knowledge in NDT as in PMI, Dye Pen, and Mag Particle testing
• Experience and ability to use safely lifting devices such as cranes, forklifts, and rigging
• Experience or knowledge in welding preferred

Physical Requirements for Pump Mechanic:

• This position is highly physical and requires regular use of hands, fingers, walking, stooping, and kneeling.
• It requires employees to regularly lift and or move up to 50 pounds
• This position requires working in diverse conditions including, open air shop and field environments
