Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Purchaser to join our team at a high-end residential home building company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and material sourcing within the construction industry, with direct experience using CoConstruct project management software. This role plays a critical part in ensuring our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standard of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, purchase, and manage delivery of construction materials, finishes, and supplies for high-end residential projects.

• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with vendors and subcontractors to ensure cost efficiency and quality.

• Maintain and manage purchase orders, budgets, and job costing through CoConstruct.

• Collaborate closely with project managers, site supervisors, and designers to meet project timelines and specifications.

• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, and trade partners.

• Track inventory levels, monitor lead times, and resolve delivery issues or discrepancies.

• Ensure all purchasing activities align with company standards, specifications, and client expectations.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Purchaser, Procurement Specialist, or similar role in residential construction (luxury or custom home experience preferred).

• Hands-on experience with CoConstruct is required.

• Strong knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and industry pricing.

• Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.

• Ability to multitask and manage multiple project demands simultaneously.

• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
