Purchasing Agent

What You’ll Do:

As our Purchasing Agent, you’ll play a key role in ensuring we have the materials and goods we need—when we need them. You’ll collaborate with our engineering and production teams to clarify requirements, evaluate supplier options, and manage orders from start to finish.

Requirements

• Lead by example with a Safety First mindset in every task
• Process purchase orders and documents in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Negotiate terms with suppliers such as price, deadlines and expectations
• Maintains a recordkeeping system for the purchasing department
• Coordinates with managers to maintain inventory levels
• Track orders and ensuring timely delivery
• Ensure that purchasing documents are complete and accurate and include appropriate and reasonable terms and conditions
• Expedite and assist with the troubleshooting of orders as needed.
• Additional duties as assigned

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least two years of purchasing experience required
• Previous manufacturing purchasing experience
• NetSuite (ERP) system experience preferred but not required
