Purchasing Agent

Love plants and a good deal? We’re looking for a Purchasing Agent who knows their way around plant materials, nurseries, and the horticulture industry—and can confidently negotiate the best quality and pricing.

At McDugald Steele, you’ll play a key role in bringing our landscape projects to life by sourcing the right materials, at the right time, from the right vendors.

What You’ll Bring

• Solid knowledge of plant material, botanical names, and nursery standards

• Understanding of horticulture industry specs and quality expectations

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Intermediate Excel skills (tracking, organizing, analyzing data)

• Experience with job costing (a plus, not required)

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs

• Comfortable operating a skid steer (or willing to learn)
