This position is responsible for preparing, processing and tracking all purchase orders from placement to delivery, including all returns and associated credits. This position will communicate with over 100 vendors as well as our sales personnel and interior designers regarding pending orders, shipping, receiving, client balances and more. Knowledge of and experience in logistics, customer service and import / export functions is a plus. Three (3) years’ experience in purchasing, or a similar function is preferred. Interest/prior experience in Interior Design/Home Decor helpful. Knowledge of Quickbooks and Houzz Pro helpful.
Candidate must possess strong work ethic, excellent verbal and written communication skills, good math skills, and flexibility. Applicants should have prior work histories of at least one year.

Typical Physical and Mental Demands:
Must be able to read, write, and speak fluently in English.
Employees in the position are required to be able to hear and have vision sufficient to utilize all office equipment.
Use of hands and fingers is required to utilize standard office equipment.
Use of feet and legs required to walk and maneuver within warehouse
Requires occasional lifting up to 25 pounds.
These physical requirements are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position.
Working Conditions:
Work is performed in a typical office environment using standard office equipment. Work is occasionally performed in the showroom/warehouse requiring walking and standing. Work hours may be variable, but are generally Monday - Friday 9 :30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. with a 30 minute unpaid lunch.
