Job Description - Purchasing Agent- Romeo, MI.

Duties:

Stay up to date on the latest machinery, tooling and material trends/deals

Prepare and submit purchase orders for tooling, materials and machinery

Verify receipts and payments

Manage delivery for all purchased goods

Resolve any shipping, payment, or inventory issues

Establish and maintain vendor relationships

Purchasing control; keep appropriate paperwork and documents needed for future purchasing reference

Requirements:

Purchasing experience – thorough knowledge of purchasing policies and procedures

Inventory control experience

Strong knowledge or experience with metal tooling/materials is a plus

High School Diploma or GED

Strong communication, time management and organization skills
