Are you detail-oriented and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment? Yoakum Community Hospital is seeking an enthusiastic Temporary Full-time Purchasing Assistant/Courier to join our vibrant team! In this role, not only will you be an integral part of our purchasing department, but you'll also have the opportunity to make a real impact on our operations!

As a Purchasing Assistant/Courier, you will take on important responsibilities that keep our hospital running seamlessly. Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Assisting with the purchase of supplies and equipment, ensuring that we have everything we need to provide excellent care.
• Coordinating deliveries and pickups of essential items, maintaining our efficient workflows.
• Keeping accurate records of purchases and deliveries to support inventory management.
• Performing routine errands and deliveries as needed, providing excellent service to our internal teams.
• Taking call on a rotating basis.

What We're Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant experience in purchasing or logistics is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Familiarity with purchasing software or inventory management systems is a bonus.
