Purchasing Clerk - Join a Leading Company

Purchasing Clerk Opening
Pay: $23-25/hr
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze and react to selling, key items, vendor profitability and aged inventory.
* Build relationships with suppliers and negotiate with them for the best pricing.
* Create purchase orders based on sales and current trends.
* Tracking receipt flow for new and reordered merchandise
* Enter price changes.
* Resolves discrepancies and issues with shipments and inventory.
* Pulling information from the system to create key reports for analysis.

Skill Summary:
* Minimum of 1 to 2 years of buying experience preferably in distribution, retail and or manufacturing
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
* Extremely well organized and detailed oriented with excellent time
management skills
* Ability to communicate and work well with all levels of management.
* Excellent Computer skills (Excel & Microsoft Word) experience with Navision and Jet reports a plus
