We're seeking a talented Director of Purchasing to join a prestigious luxury hotel and resort in Boston. Your responsibilities will include sourcing, vendor management, strategic procurement to enhance profitability, and overseeing inventory control.

Responsibilities Of Purchasing Director

Manage the storeroom team
Maintain an organized storeroom with proper inventory setup
Ensure detailed record-keeping for receiving
Ensure received products meet quality standards and food items are properly labeled and dated
Collaborate closely with the Food and Beverage team to monitor costs
Identify and collaborate with reliable vendors and suppliers, ensuring product rotation
Efficiently schedule staff

Requirements For Purchasing Director

Demonstrated purchasing experience in a full-service luxury hotel
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration
Proficiency with Microsoft and relevant purchasing software
Strong leadership skills
