Purchasing Specialist - Fast Hire

Our client, a luxury consumer products company is looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join their growing team.

The Purchasing Specialist is responsible for purchasing products and tracking inventory and monitoring stock levels of the Company. In addition, the Purchasing Specialist is responsible for understanding market trends and general sales so the Company can operate efficiently.

Responsibilities:        

·         Monitor stock levels and identify purchasing needs.

·         Create purchase orders and support all business needs and divisions.

·         Track client orders and ensure timely delivery.

·          Update internal databases with order details (dates, vendors, quantities)

·         Manage updated records of invoices.

·         Follow up with suppliers, as needed, to confirm or change orders.

·         Liaise with warehouse staff to ensure all products arrive in good condition.

·         Analyze data and customer projections.

·         Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

·         2-4 years of experience as a Purchasing Specialist or similar role

·         Knowledge of supply chain procedures

·         Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, (V-Lookups)

·         Strong organizational skills can multi- task and adapt a variety of functions as needed.
