Merchology seeks a Purchasing Supervisor to lead and coach a team of specialists, ensuring exceptional service delivery and customer satisfaction. Reporting to the Sr. Customer Service Manager, this critical role drives continuous improvement through developing standard procedures, collaborating with other departments, and analysis of customer service metrics.

A successful Purchasing Supervisor will:

• Lead, coach, and mentor a team of customer service and purchasing specialists to ensure they deliver exceptional service to customers and collaborate with supplier partners.
• Monitor and evaluate the performance of the team, providing regular feedback and guidance.
• Collaborate with suppliers to keep purchase orders moving quickly with a high level of accuracy .
• Handle escalated customer inquiries and complaints, resolving issues in a timely and effective manner. 
• Analyze customer feedback through various channels to identify trends and patterns, providing actionable insights and collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the overall customer experience.
• Work alongside the Customer Service Trainer to develop and implement training programs to continuously improve the skills and knowledge of the team. 
• Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for the team that focus on consistency and efficiency.
• Analyze team metrics and KPIs to identify areas of improvement and implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
• Ensure team members have the tools, resources, support necessary to succeed in their roles.
• Complete additional projects or duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in related field, will consider experience in lieu of degree
• 2-3 Years in a customer service/purchasing role, experience leading a team or project a plus
• Able to interface and demonstrate leadership internally and externally
• Demonstrates strong business acumen
• Strong relationship building and communication
• Strong Computer Skills 
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
• Basic understanding of the technical aspects of company offerings

• The estimated range for On-Target Earnings in this role is $60,000 to $65,000. On-Target Earnings consist of a combination of annual base pay and a variable bonus based on company performance

• Hybrid role: Three days onsite and two days remote following training - there is no option for fully remote work
