Responsible for directing and the purchasing activities for the three major segments of the Casino Resort, including Gaming and support staff, Food and Beverage Departments and Hotel Operations. Duties include but are not limited to:

• Coordinates the properties purchasing, receiving and storage of supplies.
• Ensures that all departments follow proper purchasing and requisitions guidelines.
• Assures that reasonable inventory levels are established and maintained for daily operation of departments within the property.
• Researches suppliers and costs for all departmental needs. Negotiates contracts and agreements beneficial and cost effective for the property.
• Forwards order request to CFO and GM with recommendations for processing, purchasing and bidding of goods and/or services for the property.
• Provides approval of payment relating to purchase orders.
• Directs the inventory control of all activities in the warehouse.
• Completes ordering of goods and services or directs personnel to place themselves.
• Provides coaching, guidance, and on the job training for staff members in a manner commensurate with the mission and values of Seven Feathers Casino Resort.
• Responsible for performance evaluations for the warehouse staff. Is also responsible for the administration of the progressive discipline process.
• Provides constructive input to foster process improvement within the department.
• Maintains confidential information that is received in verbal, written, and electronic media. Limits access to information on a job-related, need-to-know basis.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with 5+ year’s experience in purchasing/related field preferred. or 10 years of purchasing/inventory experience in mid or large size casino or hotel environment in lue of Bachelor degree.
• 2 years of supervisory experience required, preferably in purchasing.
• 3-5 years clerical/administrative experience required.
• Extensive knowledge of food, beverage, general and printing products and purchasing procedures.
• 21 years of age or older.
• Excellent organizational, verbal, interpersonal, and customer relations skills.
• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Analytical/mathematics skills essential.
• Able to read and comprehend written instructions.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and tasks at once.
• Must have the ability to obtain a Class III Gaming License.
• Current and valid Oregon Drivers License with the ability to qualify for the UIDC Drivers Program.
