Python Developer (Financial Services)

Location: New York City, NY (Hybrid - 3 Days Onsite)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, maintain, and optimize Python-based applications.
• Build scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions using modern Python frameworks.
• Automate processes, troubleshoot production and application issues, and enhance existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions.
• Integrate applications with database systems and support data-driven development initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools and technologies to improve software development efficiency and productivity.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Strong expertise in Python programming.

• Hands-on experience with Django, Flask, Pandas, and NumPy.
• Proven experience in developing, testing, maintaining, and optimizing Python applications with a focus on security, scalability, and performance.
• Strong troubleshooting and automation experience.
• Hands-on experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Strong database design, development, and SQL querying skills.
• Practical experience leveraging AI tools and technologies in the software development lifecycle.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience working within the Financial Services industry.
• Experience developing enterprise-grade applications in regulated environments.
