Requirement:

We are seeking a meticulous and dedicated individual to join our team as a QA Analyst for an important project focused on highly visible web applications. As a QA Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and reliability of the software applications, contributing to successful delivery of the technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with project stakeholders to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases tailored to the specific requirements, ensuring thorough coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.
• Execute test cases according to established test plans, systematically identifying and documenting issues, bugs and inconsistencies in applications.
• Evaluate the usability of educational applications, considering factors such as user interface design, navigation, and accessibility, and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Collaborate with developers and designers to ensure timely resolution of application issues, providing clear communication and guidance throughout the bug resolution process.
• Verify the accuracy and integrity of data stored and processed by educational applications, ensuring data consistency and reliability across different system components.
• Execute performance testing to assess the responsiveness, scalability, and stability of educational applications under various usage scenarios, identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks as needed.
• Conduct regression testing to verify that fixes and updates do not introduce new issues or regressions in application functionality, ensuring the stability and reliability of educational applications over time.
• Document test results, including identified issues, bugs, and recommendations for remediation, in clear and detailed bug reports.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure alignment on project requirements and priorities.
• Stay abreast of emerging trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance, particularly as they relate to educational technology and application development.

Qualification Requirement:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience in software quality assurance, with a focus on testing web and mobile applications.
• Experience with bug tracking and test management tools, such as Jira, Bugzilla, or TestRail.
• Knowledge of Database concepts and SQL queries.
• Familiar with test automation tools and frameworks, such as Selenium, Cucumber, TestNG, etc.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to systematically identify and document application issues.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership and accountability for deliverables.
• Ability to articulate technical issues to a non-technical audience.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities simultaneously.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with ADA regulations and guidelines accessibility.
• Experience with accessibility testing tools such as Axe, WAVE or Accessibility insights can streamline the testing process and enhance efficiency in identifying accessibility issues.
• Accessibility testing to validate compliance with ADA standards is a plus.
