QA Automation Tester

We are currently seeking a QA Automation Tester with experience in Playwright or Selenium to join our team. You will be responsible for reviewing and analyzing system specifications, collaborating with QA Engineers to develop effective automation strategies, and creating and executing automated test cases. Your role will include reporting and tracking defects in JIRA, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality of software throughout the development lifecycle through automation.

Key responsibilities:

• Review and analyze system specifications to ensure thorough test coverage and identify automation opportunities.
• Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective automation strategies and test plans.
• Create, execute, and maintain automated test cases using Playwright or Selenium.
• Report bugs and track/manage defects in JIRA.
• Help troubleshoot issues and provide insights into potential solutions in the automated test environment.
• Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Identify areas for improvement in testing processes and suggest automation enhancements.
• Continuously improve automation frameworks and tools to enhance test efficiency.
• Communicate effectively with the development team and other stakeholders to ensure understanding of issues and solutions.

Your profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• 2-3+ years of experience as a QA Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven experience with Playwright and Selenium for test automation.
• Experience working with Agile development methodologies, specifically Scrum.
• Ability to document and troubleshoot errors efficiently in automated test environments.
• Expertise with QA tools for test management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify issues early in the development process.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Advanced English level.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
