QA Engineer

Aspire Software is looking for a QA Engineer to join our team in Lebanon.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately recording the output of testing in Jira or equivalent, logging bugs/defects with sufficient clarity and managing them throughout the defect lifecycle.
• Recommend improvements in software to enhance user experience.
• Recommend improvements to processes and procedures to improve quality and efficiency.
• To write and implement test plans.
• Build automated tests
• To write and review test scripts.

Essential Skills / Experience / Competencies:

• Minimum 2 years of software testing experience ideally with a formal ISTQB accreditation (foundation or higher) or relative industry experience
• Experience in:
• Regression testing
• Usability testing
• Stress testing
• Acceptance testing
• Exploratory testing
• BDD
• Experience in manual testing for APIs, web and windows desktop applications.
• Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
• Excellent knowledge of best practice testing techniques.
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written.
• Extremely motivated.

Desirable skills

• Experience creating Virtual Machines to support test scenarios.
• Experience in test automation using:
• C#/.Net,
• Selenium
• Nunit
• Reqnroll
