QA Engineer (Python-based test automation)

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

• Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts in Python for smoke, regression, and functional testing.
• Establish a Python-based QA automation framework for the platform from scratch.
• Execute automated and manual test cases where needed, ensuring high product quality.
• Collaborate closely with developers (PHP/React) and the product team to clarify requirements and ensure coverage.
• Proactively identify bugs, gaps, and risks, and ensure timely reporting/escalation.
• Contribute to the knowledge transfer process, documenting test scenarios, frameworks, and QA processes.
• Advocate for best QA practices and continuously improve test coverage and automation efficiency. 

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Strong experience with Python test automation (e.g., Pytest, Unittest, Behave).
• Solid understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and execution.
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Hands-on experience with smoke testing, regression testing, and CI/CD test integration.
• Ability to work with minimal documentation and quickly absorb domain knowledge.
• Excellent communication skills and self-management abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Experience with clinical, healthcare, or regulated environments.
• Knowledge of PHP/React systems to support integration testing.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI).

• Ability to independently establish QA structure and automation in a greenfield environment.
• Strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to bridge knowledge gaps.
• Quick adaptability and ownership of QA processes.
• Delivering reliable, repeatable test coverage to ensure product stability.
