QA Engineers (Security, Non-functional) 2+

Experience within educational field or any DOEs will be plus

The project is 18 months

onsite at the schools in order to perform the assessments NYC area

Estimated project start is SEPTEMBER 2024

Visa: GC, USC & GC-EAD

Please, don't go crazy, they don't need too senior people

Duties:

• Performing Assessment at the school site to ensure installation meets DOE standards as defined in the DOE's technical standards document (Appendix 4)

• Performing Quality Assurance of Genetec Configuration of Sipelia, Synergis and Security Center.
• Providing an assessment report certifying passing installation of solution and/or citing deficiencies in installation.
• Checking installed equipment as per approved design and manufacturer instructions.
• Verifying configuration and configuring network equipment when required.

• Interfacing with school Leadership and custodians to ensure satisfactory installation of the program.
• Providing knowledge transfer where needed.
• Validating Network As-Built and Project Deployment Documentation has been completed to specification standards.

Minimum Qualifications

QA Engineers (Security, Non-functional)

Will support deployment integration, quality assurance testing, conduct automated and manual tests to ensure software performs adequately and meets the user requirements. QA Engineers will understand the overall organizational landscape and technology and will plan, construct, and execute product tests, system tests, unit tests, load tests, volume tests, penetration and network tests.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2+ years of networking and experience in Genetec Security Center, Sipelia, Synergis, or another Video Management System.
• 2+ years of creating technical documentation.
• 2+ years of expertise in design, development, and creation of test plans and supporting test cases for computer systems and business applications based on business and functional requirements.
• 2+ years of ability to execute manual and automated test cases.

Preferable Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or technical certification.
