QA Final Release - Vineyard

Perform a variety of working level and technical duties as needed to assure the ongoing compliance with the quality standards and specifications in an assigned work unit, including but not limited to the production floor, shipping, receiving and outbound inspection.

As a Final Release Inspector, you will:

• Responsible for completing” released for shipping” section of the Finished Product Inspection form (QA Form-18)


• Ensure that Released and Shipping section of finished product inspection is completed


• Check finished product forms with product to ensure they are a match


• Verify that product counts match pallet of finished goods


• Validate that labels match their corresponding paperwork and is formatted according to client specifications


• Open, inspect and sample master shippers to ensure product has the correct labeling


• Obtain and verify the presence of a valid C of A corresponding to the product to be released


• Ensure that customer releases are signed and dated by customer


• Sticker all finished good pallets with green release sticker


• Log all pallets with assigned pallet number into commercial logs


• Make MBR’s and specs if needed


• Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:

• The ability read, speak and understand basic English


• Must possess oral / written communication skills, ability to manage multiple priorities


• Follow GMP standards and guidelines


• Understand and apply information set forth in SOP’s


• Ability to operate and use a pallet jack to move pallets for release


• Handle confidential information.


•  Ability to cross train in 2 or more areas within the Quality


• High School Diploma or GED


• 6+ months related experience
