QA Inspector

• Inspect machined parts and materials for naval nuclear submarine use
• Perform visual, dimensional, and material identification inspections
• Utilize precision instruments (surface plates, calipers, optical comparators, profilometers, hardness testers, XRF/LIBBS)
• Conduct functional tests (spring rate, flexure, plating thickness, surface finish)
• Document and enter inspection data into PDREP and shipyard systems
• Ensure compliance with NAVSEA, OSHA, and PNS safety/radiological requirements

• 5+ years in precision measurement, inspection, and technical documentation
• 2+ years inspecting materials per NAVSEA material control standards
• Level 1 (L1) certification experience (fasteners, manifolds, welding commodities, mill products)
• Proficiency with MIL‑STD‑792 marking methods
• OSHA‑certified; experience with nuclear‑grade material standards
• U.S. Citizenship
• Final DoD Confidential Security Clearance or higher
• Successful completion of PNS onboarding and proficiency checks
