The QA Manager will lead and manage the Quality Assurance function across construction projects, ensuring that all works comply with internal quality systems, client requirements, and Maltese regulations. This is a senior role requiring strong leadership, technical competence, and hands-on site experience.
Develop, implement, and maintain QA/QC systems and procedures
Ensure compliance with technical standards, specifications, and local regulations
Conduct site inspections, audits, and quality assessments
Identify non-conformities and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Maintain QA documentation, reports, and traceability records
Liaise with project teams, consultants, and clients on quality matters
Train and support staff on quality requirements and best practices
Drive continuous improvement across operations
MQF Level 4 in Construction Management or higher
Valid Maltese Driving Licence – Category B (mandatory)
Strong background in construction QA/QC and site operations
Excellent knowledge of Maltese building regulations and standards
Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, and method statements
close attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills
Very good communication skills in English (Maltese an asset)
Organised, professional, and able to work independently
Qualified Perit (Architect / Engineer) – highly desirable
Previous experience in a QA / QC / Compliance leadership role
