QA Mortgage Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Quality Assurance Specialist on our Homeownership Lending Team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing loan files for quality assurance review, identifying and resolving potential issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. In This Role, You Will:

• Prepare loan files for mortgage quality assurance audit
• Identify missing credit/qualifying documentation
• Execute re-verification of documentation
• Execute acceptable 4506-C to obtain IRS tax transcripts
• Track/Trend re-verification statistics
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
• Communicate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve issues
• Other job duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
• 2+ years of experience in file documentation, compliance, or a related field preferred
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
