QA Tech I

The QA Technician Level 1 position is primarily responsible for the day-to-day quality activities associated with the production, sampling, inspection, testing, and release of materials and finished products. This position works closely with the Quality Manager.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

•            Perform in-coming inspection of materials and finished product.

•   Assist Production with in-process testing, as needed.
  
• Assist in Final Lot testing.
  
• Perform Sterile Finished Goods Inspection
  
•  Placement and incubation of biological indicators associated with sterilization
  
•  Completion and maintenance of various Quality records.
  
• Update Quality procedures associated with the activities listed above, as needed
  
• Change the status of items within the company computer system
  
• Perform other duties within the Quality department (NCR, Validation, CAPA, Internal Audits, etc.), as assigned by the Quality Manager.
  

Requirements

•  High School graduate.
  
•  One (1) year experience within a regulated industry (medical device, pharmaceutical, food, etc.
  
• Good computer skills.
  
• Good written and verbal communication skills
  
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
  
•  Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly
  
• Must be able to stand for long periods (seven (7) hours or more)
  
•  Must be able to work in both climate and non-climate controlled work areas
