Job Description:

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and test production samples using approved laboratory methods and procedures
• Perform color evaluations and visual comparisons to established standards
• Conduct testing including viscosity, spectrophotometry (UV/VIS), GC/FID, particle size analysis, Karl Fischer moisture analysis, and related wet chemistry techniques as trained
• Accurately record and enter test results into designated systems and databases
• Assist with calibration, cleaning, and routine maintenance of laboratory equipment
• Communicate test findings clearly to Quality and Production teams
• Support continuous improvement and team-based problem-solving initiatives
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant laboratory environment

What We’re Looking For

We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented individuals who are comfortable working in both laboratory and manufacturing environments.

You will be successful if you have:

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
• A safety-first mindset with consistent adherence to PPE and laboratory protocols
• Ability to follow established procedures and testing methods
• Basic computer skills for data entry and reporting
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Basic math skills for measuring, weighing, and verifying material quantities

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma required
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in a science-related field preferred
• 0–12 months of laboratory or manufacturing experience preferred
• Training is provided.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

This role is performed in a laboratory and manufacturing setting and requires:

• Frequent standing and walking during an 8-hour shift
• Occasional kneeling or bending during equipment cleaning or adjustments
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Exposure to heat, solvents, airborne particles, and production materials
• Routine use of laboratory instruments and testing equipment
• Strict adherence to PPE and safety procedures
