What You’ll Do

As our QC Lab Technician, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring the quality of our asphalt and aggregate products. You’ll keep our standards high and our projects successful by:

• Pulling, testing, and evaluating asphalt & aggregate samples (up to 50 lbs)
• Inspecting truck beds to ensure material quality and compliance
• Keeping the QC Lab organized, efficient, and running smoothly
• Mixing and matching product colors to customer specs
• Pitching in with other duties that support our quality mission

What You Bring

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, ownership, and a commitment to excellence:

• Strong communication and professionalism with all levels of staff & customers
• Solid MS Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook)
• Experience with state/federal documentation (a plus!)
• A “jump-in and get it done” attitude — independently or as part of a team
• Flexibility to work extended hours during busy seasons

Work Environment

Your days will be a mix of indoor and outdoor work — no boring desk-only job here! Expect:

• Occasional use of heavy equipment or machinery

Physical Expectations

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Comfortable working at heights & in tight spaces
• Willing to shovel dense or wet material when needed
