Summary

As a Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional at Developmental Options, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities within the ICF/IDD program. This position involves creating and implementing individualized care plans that promote personal growth and well-being, ensuring that each client receives the highest standard of care.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.


• Provide direct support and assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities.


• Monitor client progress and adjust care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.


• Utilize behavior management techniques to promote positive behaviors and reduce challenging behaviors.


• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain confidentiality of client information.


• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to coordinate services effectively.


• Provide training and support to staff on best practices in patient care.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.


• Strong understanding of patient care principles and behavior management techniques.


• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients, families, and team members.


• Experience in developing care plans is highly desirable.


• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities.


• CPR/First aid certification is a plus.
