Qualifying Agent

We are seeking a Qualifying Agent to join our dynamic team and play a key role in our growth. This role is essential to ensuring regulatory compliance and maintaining our ability to operate as a licensed solar contractor in the state.

We are looking for a qualified individual who has a VALID Master Electrician License and a VALID Construction Supervisor License (CSL). These credentials are required by the Massachusetts Board of State Examiners of Electricians and the Division of Occupational Licensure to perform and oversee residential solar installations.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the license holder of record for Ambia Energy in Massachusetts.
• Maintain compliance with all state and local licensing requirements for electrical and solar installations.
• Assist with project documentation, permitting, and inspections as needed.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all work is performed under proper licensure.
• Remain informed of regulatory updates affecting electrical and solar contractor licensing.

• Valid Massachusetts Master Electrician License (Master Electrician eligible to be a business license qualifier).
• Valid Construction Supervisor License (CSL).
• Strong knowledge of the Massachusetts State Building Code and NEC.
• ICC Certification (we will need proof of the passed ICC Exam).
