The Quality and DNP Assistant at RYC Foods oversees that products meet quality and safety standards, verifies samples, and examines products; records controls performed and prepares reports.
DNP Assistant
Develop new products ensuring that everything from raw materials to finished product meets quality and safety standards according to the SQF system.
Prototyping
Maintain, organize, and have kitchen utensils and equipment available, ensuring they are kept in good condition
Measure product performance in raw materials and finished product
Conduct sensory evaluations and record and report data gathered from participants
Evaluate raw meat materials, ingredients, and packaging materials
Approve product and service providers
Obtain development requests from the commercial area
Complete customer records for new and line products
Execute and follow up on development approvals

Act and maintain competence as the QI on site to ensure compliance with all state, county, and federal regulations
Supervise the maintenance of the company's food safety plan and ensure its integrity through verification and validation
Communicate information related to the implementation and maintenance of the food safety plan
Conduct pre-operational inspections and follow-up on calibration plan and sampling for laboratory analysis
Analyze laboratory data and graph trends
Train staff
Process inspections (reception, processing and dispatch) and product evaluation, product release: SAP -- pre-shipment
Performance analysis (on the floor and in the production process control sheets)
