Quality Assurance Associate - with Great Benefits

This position is responsible for the oversight of all financial functions of the Blood Center, including proper controls over financial reporting and operational spending. This position is responsible for supporting the effectiveness of the quality system by reviewing and approval of policy, SOPs, validations, and other documents to ensure compliance with federal, industry, and other regulations. Managing the internal audit and safety programs. Facilitates process improvement via the CAPA system, and reporting on Key Performance Indicators for management. Provides both new employee training and departmental and global training.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Detail-Oriented
• Possesses excellent communication skills, including technical writing, & oral communication
• Bachelors preferred
• In lieu of education- 2 years in a blood center or regulated industry

Responsibilities:

• Review policies and procedures and ensure that they are in compliance with FDA, AABB, and other regulations.

• Review events in the Quality Management System.

• Perform QA review on validations.

• Write SOPs.

• Train new employees and provide other training as requested.

• Perform internal auditing

• Perform blood center safety duties

• Administration of the Quality Management System

• Records and Label Management

Pay and hours

Monday through Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Starting salary at 51,038.38

**All new hires are eligible for Bonuses. You will be eligible to receive, upon completion of 180 days of service, and successfully passing probation, a $500 retention bonus. Upon completion of 365 days of service, you will receive an additional $500. Total of $1,000 over one year of employment service.**
