Quality Assurance Auditor - Hiring Fast

As a Healthcare Documentation and Coding Quality Assurance Auditor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient visit chart notes, as well as verifying the appropriate assignment of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare documentation and coding, with extensive experience in quality assurance processes.

Responsibilities:

- Listen to and document patient visits in the electronic health record (EHR)
- Audit chart notes within the EHR for accuracy and completeness
- Assign appropriate ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes to chart notes
- Audit codes applied to chart notes by our technology
- Collaborate with the Quality Assurance Team Lead to develop workflow policies and procedures
- Communicate with internal teams and external partners to ensure satisfaction and compliance

Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience in healthcare documentation and coding
- One of the following credentials: CPC, COC, CPMA, CPPM, CDEO, CPMS
- Strong knowledge of claims adjudication processes and regulatory requirements
- Familiarity with EHR/EMR technology
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in a healthcare technology company or similar environment
