Quality Assurance Technician - Lead

3:00 pm - 11:30 pm

Monday - Friday

$21.00 to $23.50 per hour 

Premier food manufacturer is seeking a machine operator who can ensure a quality product while adhering to customer specifications.  Employee will safely operate machinery and equipment used in producing ingredients, product parts or in packaging.

Competencies:

• Supervisory / Lead experience
• Computer skills - Data entry, Word and Excel
• Develop, train and mentor QA technicians
• Ability to do what is necessary from covering breaks to completing paperwork and approving raw materials
• Clearly communicates to others and actively listens
• Ability to monitor production and staff to ensure proper GMPs are followed

Skills and Knowledge

• Complete necessary microbiological testing
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Attention to detail
• Inventory control and stock rotation

Physical Requirements, Work Environment

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must be able to constantly stand/walk throughout the shift.
• Significant visual acuity for computer screen and small objects 
• Must be able to work with a flexible schedule including overtime and weekend shift coverage.
