Job Overview:

One of our leading Food Manufacturing clients is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Quality Assurance Manager in Sherburne, New York. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products and services meet the highest quality standards and comply with all relevant regulations. 

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures

- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and food safety.

- Manage QA team and monitor Food Safety and Quality Systems.

- Lead SQF System development and act as SQF Practitioner.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the entire production process

- Monitor and analyze quality metrics and report on key performance indicators

- Investigate and resolve customer complaints related to product quality

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance

Required Skills:

-Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field preferred.

-Knowledge of food industry policies (FDA, USDA, SQF).

-HACCP training and experience.

-SQF 2000 training and SQFI "Certificate of Attainment" preferred.

-Strong communication, attention to detail, and multi-tasking skills.
