Position Summary
Lead the organization's quality systems strategy, regulatory compliance, supplier quality, and internal/external audit programs. Based on the intake discussion, this role is best suited for a strong Quality Engineer or Quality Systems professional with leadership potential—not necessarily a long-tenured manager.
What You'll Be Responsible For
· Lead quality management system (QMS) activities across multiple manufacturing locations.
· Own internal/external audits, supplier quality, corrective actions, and compliance initiatives.
· Drive continuous improvement of ISO/IATF/AS quality systems.
· Partner with engineering, operations, and leadership on quality strategy.
· Develop quality metrics and coach quality professionals.
Ideal Background
· 3+ years of progressive quality engineering or quality systems experience.
· Experience with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 or similar quality systems.
· Strong auditing background (internal, supplier, or external).
· Background in machining or precision manufacturing strongly preferred.
· Knowledge of GD&T, root cause analysis, CAPA, FMEA; ASQ/CQE and metallurgy are pluses—not required.
