The Quality Assurance Technician II plays a crucial role in rapid response to customers requiring post sale service in the form of field repairs as well as working closely with operations management to identify and address opportunities related to the quality management system.
· Availability to travel to customer sites to perform repairs on short notice.
· Ability to identify opportunities for improvement in quality performance.
· Ability to train and educate others on procedures and best practices.
· Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in using quality measurement tools and equipment.
Background and experience in Manufacturing, Product Installation, or Quality.
· Independently perform field repairs and service when and where needed.
· Initiate and drive the development and implementation of quality control and testing procedures.
· Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards.
· Providing training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
· Work independently to resolve customer complaints and quality-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
Strong verbal and written communications skills to convey instructions, expectations and feedback clearly and effectively.
Working knowledge of Microsoft office programs, a plus.
Experience in Manufacturing, Product Installation or Quality required.
