Quality Assurance Test Engineer

Actalent Engineering is looking for a Quality Assurance Test Engineer for a client involved in New Vehicle Development near Savannah, GA!

Description:

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform Material Testing duties for EV components & Tool Calibration sections.

• Evaluate department processes; recommend process and product improvements.

• Handle customer test requests and EV efficiency testing

• Operate EV Efficiency and Environmental Chamber Testing equipment.

• Review EV Models certifications and maintain records.

• Conduct product testing and first article and final inspections when needed.

• Work with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of continuous improvement and quality excellence.

• Continuously improve the testing and evaluation process to ensure that it is efficient, effective, and aligned with industry best practices.

• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Preferences

Required:

• A bachelor’s degree of higher

• Advance Metrology Skills. Efficient operation and knowledge of Dynamometer and Environmental chamber operations

• Knowledge of automotive systems, including EV, chassis, and electronic systems.

• Ability to understand, read and establish fluent technical English conversations.

• Excellent communication skills.

• Great problem definition and problem solution tool application

Preferred:

• Experience with projects that encouraged participation in related departments.

Travel Requirement

• Domestic / International travel may be required.

Working Hours (Shift) Requirement

• Employment opportunities at site will be completed in multiple phases.
