Description
Pillar College is a growing Christian institution with multiple locations in New Jersey, including Paterson, and Newark. Rooted in and committed to Christian faith and love, Pillar fosters intellectual, spiritual, and social development among its diverse student population.
We are seeking a Quality Assurance/System Administrator will manage quality assurance, project workflow involving various departments, and other projects that are essential to the division. The ASA will report to the Associate Vice President of Enrollment Services (AVPES). Responsibilities include the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope, and the oversight of all aspects of monitoring, summarizing progress, and preparing reports for upper management regarding status of projects. The PQAS will report directly to the Executive Director of Recruitment and Retention.
Requirements
Work Performed, but not limited to:
· Oversee the admin process for Anthology Student and Student Verification
o Updates for activities, triggers, new processes
o Processes for accuracy
o Yearly updates
· Conduct Anthology training as needed
· Keep integrations updated and troubleshoot as needed (Slate, Nelnet, portal, etc.)
· Technical support and troubleshooting for staff and students
· Attend weekly Anthology meetings to support updates and system maintenance
· Oversee regularly scheduled UA Testing
· Complete special projects as assigned by the VPES or AVPES
· Perform other related duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Knowledge and Experience:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Excellent critical thinking skills to develop a practical working plan to implement the department’s goals.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize activities, and the flexibility to make adjustments in response to change or frequent interruptions
• Excellent communication skills, sufficient to explain policies, procedures and practices and to sustain excellent customer interactions in person, by phone and email
• A demonstrated ability to understand and gain proficiency in the student information database and other standard office technologies
• SIS updates and maintenance (Campus Nexus)
• Quality standards overview

Skills and Abilities (Preferred):
• Knowledge of and experience with the daily operations of the areas of enrollment management, financial aid, academics (registrar’s office), and student accounts
• Experience in supporting a diverse student population
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Anthology Student products
Working Conditions:
• Pleasant, professional environment
• Regular interaction with staff, faculty, and students
Physical Demands:
• 90% of the time in the office; 10% of the time at other sites
Education and Experience Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
