Job Description - Quality Auditor

Position Summary


The Quality Auditor is responsible for conducting routine quality inspections and audits throughout the manufacturing and packaging processes to ensure that products meet Wondercide’s quality
and regulatory standards. This role partners closely with Production, Mixing, Receiving, & Shipping teams to identify issues, document findings, prevent customer escalations, and support continuous improvement in the operations performance relating to quality.



Key Responsibilities


Quality Inspections & Audits



  • Conduct process audits daily in Production, Mixing, Receiving, and Shipping.  

    • Customer Experience Audits in Shipping (Out of Box Audits)

    • Batch Integrity audits in Mixing

    • In-Line Audits in Production (In-Box Audits)



  • Assist Supply Chain/Receiving in the inspection of raw materials & packaging components to identify, contain, and resolve non-conformance issues from Suppliers

  • Support quarantining any non-conformance issues related to lot codes, expiration dates, labeling accuracy, and packaging integrity



Documentation & Reporting



  • Accurately complete inspection records, audit checklists, and quality logs

  • Document nonconformances and escalate issues to Quality leadership as needed

  • Pareto and/or Graph quality performance to assist in identifying any trend or significant quality issues

  • Assist with root cause investigations and corrective action documentation

  • Adhere to all Quality Management System requirements & championing QMS within the Operations team



Collaboration & Continuous Improvement



  • Communicate quality concerns clearly with all levels of the Production and Operations teams

  • Support training and coaching on quality best practices as needed

  • Identify trends or recurring issues and suggest process improvements



Required Qualifications



  • High school diploma or GED required

  • 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing, quality inspection, or auditing preferred

  • Basic understanding of GMPs and quality systems (or willingness to learn)

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written procedures

  • Comfortable standing, walking, and performing repetitive tasks throughout a shift

  • Ability to lift to 40 lbs occasionally

  • Ability to visually inspect small details (labels, packaging, product appearance)



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience in consumer packaged goods (CPG), cosmetics, food, or chemical manufacturing

  • Familiarity with quality documentation systems or ERP software

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Logistics:



  • This role is expected to work out of our facility at 2200 Chisholm Trail Road Ste 160, Round Rock, TX

  • Regular shift hours are 7:30 am - 4:00 pm Monday through Friday
