Quality Control Associate

Job Title: Quality Control Associate
Pay: $17–$21/hr DOE
Hours: Monday–Friday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM(Potential Saturdays; hours may vary depending on workload)
Job Type: Temp to Hire
Location: Tulsa, OK

Responsibilities:

• Evaluates production operations from a strategic level to ensure that products meet quality, integrity, functionality, and other specifications and requirements.
• Develops and implements quality standard testing and evaluation processes.
• Facilitates communication among production divisions and management.
• Assesses test results and approves recommended changes.
• Conducts inspections and quality control checks.
• Must be able to complete all documentation accurately.
• Periodically reports the status of quality control and operations to executive leadership and, when required, regulatory agencies.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must have NDE/NDT Level I with 850 hours of learning experience and 1,660 hours of working experience.
• Experience with dimensional inspection.
• Proficient in magnetic particle testing, dye penetrant testing, and PMI testing.
• Ability to work independently following established procedures.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Education and Experience:

• 2 years of experience in a quality control role.
• Knowledge of material specifications (ASTM & ASME).
• Familiarity with welding specifications (AWS & ASME).
• CWI preferred.
• Understanding of all necessary tooling required for inspection.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to maneuver in a shop or yard assembly environment.
• Extensive walking, standing, climbing ladders and scaffolding, crouching, twisting, and stooping required.
