Job Position: Quality Control Inspector
Location: Sand Springs, OK 74063
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr (Negotiable based on experience)
Shift: Friday–Tuesday, 6:00 PM – 6:00 AM

We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Control Inspector to join an industry-leading manufacturer in Sand Springs, OK. This company specializes in pressure vessels, towers, and shell and tube heat exchangers. The Quality Control Inspector plays a critical role in ensuring that all fabricated parts and finished products meet internal quality standards and customer specifications.

Position Summary:

The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting incoming, in-process, and finished products using precision tools and measurement techniques. This role supports production teams by maintaining documentation, identifying inconsistencies, and promoting a safety-first culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform full layout inspections using precision measurement tools
• Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure quality standards are met
• Measure dimensions such as length, angles, arcs, and radii from reference points
• Visually compare workpieces to blueprints and specs to identify inconsistencies
• Document and maintain inspection results and accurate records
• Report quality issues and support corrective actions
• Collaborate with production teams to ensure product acceptance and code compliance
• Promote and support a safety-focused shop culture

Qualifications:

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Strong skills in basic math, geometry, and trigonometry
• Self-motivated and able to work independently
• Comfortable working a Friday–Tuesday overnight schedule
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Highly organized with excellent attention to detail
• Familiarity with ASME Section VIII and TEMA codes
• Understanding of NDE testing methods
• Previous experience with heat exchanger or pressure vessel inspections preferred
