PrideStaff has a great opportunity for a QC Associate for 2nd Shift, in San Marcos, CA
Job Description:
We are seeking someone that is teachable, can work independently, has attention to detail and has used basic hand tools like wire strippers and multimeters before.
Position Summary:
Inspection and test functions in production. Responsible for verification of production
processes and/or finished products conform to the quality system requirements as well as to applicable regulations. Performs other duties as required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Execute test and/or Inspect dimensional, mechanical and cosmetic characteristics of raw material and/or product, in all stages within the production process, as well as validate product performance according to established quality standards.
• Notifies supervisor of any deviation from established quality standards.
• Audit the production process to verify conformance to quality plans and to instructions indicated on related documents.
• Advises Supervisor or Manager of non-conforming product.

Necessary Education, Skills, and Competencies (including licensing and
certifications):
• High School Diploma/ GED
• Read/write English, Math, and use of calculator for measurements.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to use measuring tools: pi tape, caliper and micrometer.
• Ability to communicate
