For printing / laminating / converting business
We are looking for a full-time Quality Control/Lab Technician for our manufacturing plant in Warminster, PA. Finish Tech is in the laminating/printing/converting business. Knowledge or experience in plastic films, converting, laminating, or printing/converting is useful, but we will train the right candidate. Position is ideal for students pursuing chemistry/science degrees or retiring, experienced people still wanting to work. Good opportunity to advance.
Duties include:
- Run product quality checks
- Insure production documentation and sample retains are complete and filed
- Perform laboratory testing for raw material inspection and new product development
- Data entry in Quality Control system
- Maintain lab testing equipment and supplies
- Housekeeping of QC Lab area to ensure safe, organized and compliant environmental conditions
- Work with both vendors and customers directly using excellent communication skills
Requirements:
- Minimum of high school diploma. No college degree necessary.
- Candidate should have interest in science and good math skills.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a cross functional team environment, collaborating with others or working independently
- Good computer skills - should have a working knowledge of Word, Excel and Access
- Daytime hours
- Valid driver's license
- Applicants should live within 30 minutes of Warminster, PA
