In this role, you will play a crucial part in maintaining quality standards for automotive and industrial products. As a key leader, you will drive collaboration across various teams, ensuring compliance and excellence through effective quality management practices. Your contributions will directly impact the production processes and the overall success of the organization, fostering a culture of safety and quality in a dynamic, remote environment.
Accountabilities
- Drive collaboration with Operations to achieve target FTPR levels and contribute to critical metrics.
- Improve safety in the QC Laboratory through established protocols and compliance.
- Oversee Plant Quality Control and Assurance of packaging materials.
- Analyze complaint samples and monitor system performance against set standards.
- Facilitate the commercialization of new products in coordination with relevant teams.
- Implement quality management systems aligning with industry standards.
- Lead root cause analysis for quality incidents and manage corrective actions.
Requirements
- Postgraduate degree or equivalent experience in Chemistry or Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the FMCG/Lubricants industry in a similar role.
- Experience with ISO 9001/IATF 16949 and EMS systems.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements and regulatory compliance.
- Proven team management and leadership skills.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to lead multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Expertise in MS Project, MS Office (Excel, Power BI, and Power Apps).
- Proficiency in English; knowledge of Hindi and Gujarati is advantageous.
