About the Role

Are you an experienced Quality Control Technician? Do you have experience in inspecting and assessing the quality of heavy equipment? Are you looking to hold a key role in assuring every machine manufactured is top quality? In this role you will perform quality control inspections of finished products such as Distributors, Hot Box, Tack Distributors and Tack Tanks for our Truck Shop.

Responsibilities

• Perform final quality inspections of finished products including but not limited to inspection of distributors, hot box, tack distributors and tack tanks.
• Perform in process inspections of manufacturing process including but not limited to electrical harnesses and control box assemblies, welded frames, and welded tank assemblies.
• Develop, input, and analyze statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished products.
• Create and implement inspection criteria and procedures.
• Interpret and communicate quality control philosophy to key personnel in our organization.
• Coordinate objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
• Direct workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
• Play an active role on quality management teams within the organization.
• Investigate and adjust customer complaints regarding quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or one to two years of experience in related field.

Required Skills

• Computer knowledge a must.
• Electrical troubleshooting experience is an advantage.
• Welding inspection or prior fabrication experience is an advantage.
• Prior final assembly product inspection experience is an advantage.
