Role
A Quality Coordinator, or QA Inspector, is responsible for reviewing products and materials during manufacturing to make sure they meet company requirements. Their duties include measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications, running quality tests, and identifying defects. You also must be exceptional at time management while ensuring parts are made according to the customer’s specifications.
Responsibilities:
Establish quality standards for products a company produces
Reading blueprints and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards
Recommending any necessary adjustments and changes to production processes
Inspecting and testing the materials and equipment produced by a company
Using tools such as micrometer screw gauges to measure products
Using a CMM machine to verify product measurements
Removing products that don’t meet production standards and recommending strategies to improve product quality
Accepting or rejecting finished products and discussing inspection results with the production team
Performing inspections at random to assess product quality
Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials
Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements
Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest
Resolving quality-related issues and adhering to deadlines
Providing training to the quality assurance team
Design an efficient design protocol that can be used across all domain
Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records
Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met
Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product
Monitor customer satisfaction levels
Monitor the production phase at various levels
Other duties as assigned.
Expectations
The expectation of this role is to ensure product not meeting customer or raw material specifications is determined. A person in this role will find products that aren’t made to specifications and report information to the production team so that determinations on production strategies can be determined.
Employment Details
-Part-time, Day Shift 8 am to 3 pm with overtime opportunities
-Required Education: - High School Diploma or GED
-Compensation: - $20.00 to $25.00 /hour Dependent on Experience
