Day Location:
Virtual (Remote) The role you’ll contribute: Collaborates strongly with the AdventHealth Rocky Mountain Region hospital Directors of Quality and Patient Safety Officers. Responsible for collecting and analyzing healthcare data and clinical quality outcomes and to develop and monitor improvement strategies to promote quality care and/or address performance improvement opportunities throughout the organization. The value you’ll bring to the team: •Responsible for designing and supporting all quality, patient safety, and other related databases and reporting tools. •Abstracts and interprets data for reporting to quality leaders, hospital leadership, medical staff, board, and others as requested. Analyze data against appropriately identified benchmarks and prepares meaningful reports. •Functioning as an internal consultant, this position prepares clinical outcome statistical analysis, operational analysis, and benchmarking data. Completes timely data analysis and presentation and makes recommendations on decisions based on the analysis. Completes regular reports as requested. •Establishes and maintains systems and procedures to organize and standardize incoming and outgoing data including processes of interrater reliability. •Maintains confidentiality for all patient and organizational information. •Compiles, formats, analyzes, evaluates, and reports data to be used in performance measurement and organizational decision making. •Promotes a team environment, willing to assist others, and responds timely to all information requests. •Adapt to rapidly changing technologies, policies, regulations, and staffing through priority setting and flexibility. •Demonstrates effective time management and is proactive in prioritizing workload and meeting productivity requirements. Qualifications The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed : •Three years of related data abstraction experience •Experience setting up, managing, and interpreting data •Strong analytical and interpersonal skills Preferred qualifications: ·
Healthcare and decision support experience ·
