Key Responsibilities\n\nProvide leadership and responsibility for EPIC overall quality management to include all interfaces:\n\n1\\. Lab Operations Quality as relate to EPIC\n\n2\\. Customer Quality Interfaces as relate to EPIC\n\n3\\. Security / Facilities and support interface for Quality as relate to EPIC\n\n4\\. Business Unit interfaces as relate to product development, hardware qualification as part of PDP: Product Development Process\n\n5\\. Global Quality interfaces for internal audits, calibration, ISO Certification, Management Review and governance and all Quality functions.\n\nAdditional Responsibilities\n\n * Provide leadership and responsibility for the overall quality management system.\n * Enhance quality performance and capabilities through early involvement, enforcement of quality systems and on-going engineering support\n * Provide day to day management and support to both quality personnel and internal customers for all Q\u0026R issues/concerns\n * Lead early involvement from design stage of tooling, machines and components to understand the quality function deployment and ensure functions are able to deliver to the quality levels consistently\n * Drive the investigation of all customer complaints and facilitate resolution as well as successful completion of all related corrective and prevention actions\n * Work closely with business segments to assure downstream customer requirements are met\n * Set performance measures to monitor business unit\u2019s quality performance\n * Recruit, train, develop and provide performance guidance to the assigned team.\n * Assist teams members to execute on business improvement efforts and projects. Identify issues and challenges, measure and validate results, successfully implement solutions, and develop control plans to ensure continuation of improvements from design to end-of-life. Ensure that all project documentation is maintained accurately.\n\n\n\nFunctional Knowledge\n\n * Demonstrates broad and comprehensive understanding of different systems, theories and practices. Semiconductor lab and fab experience a must.\n\n\n\nBusiness Expertise\n\n * Applies broad industry and commercial awareness to drive financial and operational performance across Quality EPIC scope.\n\n\n\nLeadership\n\n * Leads through EPIC Quality business plans and contributes to the development of segment/functional strategy\n\n\n\nProblem Solving\n\n * Directs the resolution of highly complex or unusual business problems applying advanced analytical thought and judgment \n\n\n\nImpact\n\n * Guided by segment/functional strategy, impacts results of a department, business unit or sub-function or facilitates the work done by other segments/functions by providing support to impact the business\n\n\n\nInterpersonal Skills\n\n * Negotiates and influences the opinions of others at the senior executive level and in external organizations; exercises sensitivity to the audience \n\n\n\nPosition requires understanding of Applied Materials global Standards of Business Conduct and compliance with these standards at all times.
