Quality Engineer

Job Overview:

To utilize Engineering expertise to optimize Quality by supporting production departments. Must insure that all products are manufactured in accordance with customer and company’s Quality requirements while maintaining production flow.

Essential Functions:

•Provide support to Quality and Production including visual aids and inspection analysis.
•Responsible for PPAP and IPPAAR and PCR submissions.
•Gage concept and development
•Coordinates layout and lab tech measurement activities
•Review all design drawings and changes to assure quality requirements are met.
•Provides recommendations to improve procedures that apply to Quality and productivity.
•Develops Quality documents (PQCT, MQC, Inspection Standards, PQS, etc) as assigned.
•Utilize Plan, Do, Check, Action Cycle (PDCA)
•1 Quality tools to analyze data and develop countermeasures
•Responsible for data collection and review of Cp studies
•Coordinates and writes CMM programs and reviews for accuracy
•Responsible for maintain current revision level of blueprints, data sheets, HES standards, part drawings, part diagrams, etc.
•Provide technical knowledge and assistance on the latest technological manufacturing and quality methods
•Assists in identifying root causes and developing counter measures to problems
•Responsible to implement corrective actions such as: changes to operation and Quality Standards for operations, installation of fixtures or gauging, changes in work stations and product flow, changes in inspection analysis and changes in process procedures

Minimum Requirements:

Must have 4 years QA Experience  Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all personnel.  Proficient computer and data entry skills required. Experience in the use of Microsoft Office products is desired.  Attention to detail required.  Motivated and self-managing.  Strong administrative and organizational skill
